So, the year is over almost over huh? Little known fact here is that I spent the last New Year's Eve with a nurse named Darhuska (dar-huus-kaah) in the Czech Republic. I actually spent the better of this soon to be over year in Darkov, and as the year ends, I can't help but be reminded of that time. I sigh because I had such high hopes when I traveled to Czech in late 2006, and by the time I left the country in July 2007, those high hopes? Were all but dashed and smashed. I think they actually were dashed and smashed come to think of it. Heh. I met some nice people though.
Petra, Melani, Jana, Erika, even that crazy alcoholic bitch Katka, I remember with fondness, but mostly, it's the first three names I mentioned; we still keep in touch via text messaging and yeah, it's not the same, and yeah, we have kinda lost that special bond, but I will always love them in a sense... they were there for me when I needed someone to be, and yeah, they got paid for being my nurses, but the things... the memories... okay, I'm getting teary now, so I'll stop.
Anyway, this is meant to be for you guys, and even some people who aren't on that list. [Thus, why this entry has a public view].

The words were (hopefully) all there in the birthday banner, but there is still so much I want to say still. The few days were role played, guh I just remember going down to the business center and anxiously awaiting your Candice-shaped PMs, they were a highlight for me. The 40+ Arabs there were somewhat... jerky, not all of them, just the ones around my age, so I was very fortunate to have asked bugged you for help. Who knows? Here's to 2008 and wherever it may take us! Mega love to a mega sweet person. My Carly still digs your Candi. :]

The a billion of other people who I feel like I should thank, even people I hate. (Fuck you, Ahmed in Eygpt), but I just hope that actions speak louder than words. Czech kind of made me lose touch with some people, but without it, I wouldn't have seen the world in the brand new super sexy way I do, I wouldn't have met the brilliant people I met above, and I wouldn't have strengthened my friendship with some.
I wouldn't be on IJ either. The new names on my friends list, welcome, it rocks to have you here. ;)
